The consultation on railway station ticket office closures has been extended until 1 September. Oxted and Hurst Green railway ticket offices are among more than a thousand ticket offices in England being proposed for closure.
Many people have expressed their opposition and their concern that this will disadvantage large sections of the community, particularly the more vulnerable ones.
