Oxted & Limpsfield Residents Group (OLRG) Data Protection Policy

The OLRG Data Protection Policy is designed to protect the personal data held by OLRG

1. The information we hold is used to communicate with members, and with residents who have asked to be kept informed, (for the purposes of this document the word "member" refers to both) about matters which may be of interest to them and the activities of OLRG. It will not be used for any other purpose and will not be passed on to any third party.

2. The OLRG Data Protection Officer is the OLRG chairman, to whom all queries and requests should be addressed. The officer is responsible for the maintenance and security of the data, and that it is up-to-date.

3. Access to the data is restricted to the OLRG chairman, OLRG secretary, OLRG treasurer and, on occasion, other members of the OLRG committee.

4. The data is required solely for communication with members and is used for no other purpose.

5. The data we keep on members is their name, postal address/postcode, and an email address. In addition, if provided, we keep contact telephone numbers.

6. No data referring to individual members will be published on the OLRG website without the permission of the relevant member.

9. If you wish us to delete all data records we hold for you please email and all records will be deleted within a reasonable period of time.
