Key Facts
The council has put together a plan, (called the Core Strategy) which does not involve building on Green Belt.
We want this plan to be accepted by the Inspector, Mr David Vickery, without any changes in order to protect the Green Belt. The Core Strategy in our opinion is sound.
Developers and Central Government want Mr Vickery to say that the council has to change the Core Strategy and name Green Belt fields to build upon.
That opens the way for 650 houses on Oxted's Green Belt. That would be just the start. Nowhere in Tandridge would be safe.
