23-27A Church Lane. Site visit June 17th at 2pm

The Government Planning Inspector who will decide whether the 4 houses at numbers 23 -27A Church Lane should be knocked down and replaced with 55 extra care flats will be visiting the site on June 17th.

The planning application was refused by Tandridge District Council and the developer, Wren Homes, has taken it to Appeal. There was to have been a public Appeal hearing, but this was altered to an Appeal heard by "written representations". That means the public aren't allowed to attend.

However, the public may attend when the Inspector, Elizabeth Lawrence, views the site though she will not be able to discuss the plans with anyone.
