What the Developers Want

The Council submitted its future development plan known as the Core Strategy to the Secretary of State on 28 December 2007 and undertook a six week public consultation on it ending on 28 February 2008. That consultation was bombarded with submissions from developers about what they wanted to build and why they wanted to build it on our Green Belt. They targeted specific sites. Those sites have now been advertised.
Please do write in by June 5th and tell the Government Planning Inspector, Mr David Vickery, why these sites should not be developed, why the Council's plan is sound and why there is no need to build on the Tandridge Green Belt

Your letters will go direct to Mr Vickery who has promised to take full account of them.
He's the man who will decide whether to throw out or change the Council's plan which we support. He will decide whether your Green Belt can be built on.
His word is binding on the council. The council has to do what he tells them.
