Inspector to issue leaflet

The council were intending to issue a leaflet to everyone attending this afternoon's meeting, but we have now been told that the Inspector is going to do his own. We don't know yet what he's saying but think it will be that this meeting is just about the process and that these specific Green Belt sites will not be taken into account at this stage.

All we would want you to ask yourself is why the developers have put these plans in at the last minute if they don't expect them to influence the process! This is the leaflet we will be handing out:

- Developers have given the Inspector detailed plans to build 650 houses on Oxted's green belt.

- The Inspector has read the plans and today is meeting with the developers
