Minerals Plan - Oxted out, Nutfield and Bletchingley in

On 25th May, the Government Inspector's report on the Surrey Minerals Plan was published. Oxted Sandpit has been taken out of the Plan, but three new quarries nearby in Tandridge - two in Nutfield and on in Bletchingley - are still in. Residents there now face planning applications for a huge amount of quarrying bringing with it the prospect of huge numbers of HGVs.
