The Jeremy Vine Show - Chalkpit Quarry lorries

Radio 2's The Jeremy Vine Show on Oxted's quarry lorry horror... plus Surrey County Council's Plan to add to the pain and open up another quarry - the Sandpit - just down the road. SCC also want to make the Sandpit into an aggregates recycling centre. Minerals experts say these are invariably noisy and dirty and involve lots of lorries. Once in place they stay in place, thereby delaying restoration of the site for a very long time.
